First Unitarian Church of Baltimore is located on the corner of Charles and Franklin Streets in the heart of Baltimore's Mount Vernon District. The Enoch Pratt Parish Hall is on Charles Street, directly behind the main building.
From September through June, services are held at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. In July and August, services begin at 10:00 a.m. and are held in the Enoch Pratt Parish Hall. Check the calendar for service themes.
Our buildings and services are accessible to all, with amplified headphones, large print hymnals and bulletins, Braille hymnals, elevator and ramp, and retrofitted accessible restroom. If you have accessibility questions, please contact the
The Franklin Street garage across from the sanctuary's front entrance offers free parking on Sundays until 1:00 pm. (The charge is $1 per hour thereafter, with a maximum of $4. There is 2-hour free parking on Cathedral Street. (Meters do not have to be fed on Sundays.)
An usher will give you a nametag as you enter the Sanctuary, or you can pick one up at the Welcome Table in the Enoch Pratt Parish Hall during coffee hour.
We are as diverse in our attire as we are in our beliefs. Jeans, dresses, or three-piece suits -- be comfortable!
Children and infants are always welcome in our services. There is a Children's Corner in the back of the sanctuary. Here, little ones can play quietly, color and look at picture books. A nursery, staffed by an experienced caregiver, is available for babies and toddlers (through age 2). Children 3 and older are welcome to join our Sunday school classes or Youth Group (even if you are just visiting). These take place during church services. An usher can introduce you to
